First trailer hits for “Batman vs. Robin”

Well… it's finally here! The first official trailer for the upcoming Warner Bros./DC Entertainment animated flick!

'Batman vs. Robin' is the name of the feature and is based on "The Court Of Owls" arch. 'The Court Of Owls' is the initial story arch for the re-launched "New 52" Batman weekly series; masterfully written by Scott Snyder and illustrated incredibly by Greg Capullo.

Now with most Warner Bros./DC Entertainment animated feature films, they are loosely based on a single arch or it's a nice hodgepodge of a combination of stories. With this film, it's clear that they are loosely drawing the plot from 'The Court Of Owls' arch.

'Batman Vs. Robin' stars, Jason O'Mara (Sons of Liberty) will return as Batman, with Stuart Allen (Bad Teacher) voicing Robin and Sean Maher (Arrow) once again handling the role of Dick Grayson, the original Robin and now, Nightwing.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" storyboard artist Jay Oliva is directing the movie.
