No Lazarus Pit… No Problem according to Stephen Amell

The mid-season premiere of Arrow is coming up in two days and many fans have some questions about the pun intended, ‘cliff-hanger,’ mid-season finale where we saw Oliver battle Ra’s al Ghul a top a mountain before ultimately falling off the edge with a pretty gaping wound in his chest.

Now fanboys world wide assumed it would be the Lazarus Pit that allows Oliver to make a return, but in a new interview with Collider; Stephen Amell (Oliver/Arrow) says that’s not the case, “We just saw him fall. We’ve seen Oliver survive. So, [we don’t know] whether he went straight off the cliff, whether something broke his fall, whether he hit the ground. We have mystical herbs on the show that have healing powers. We’ve seen a Lazarus Pit, although that’s not something that’s going to be used for Oliver. I hope he survives. I like playing him.”

We will all wait with baited breath to see how Oliver Queen presumably survives. It’s rumored he will not be seen (other then through flashbacks and dreams) for the next three episodes.

Arrow airs on Wednesday nights on The CW.
