PRINCE PASSES AWAY AT 57

Various news outlets are reporting that Prince passed away earlier today (April 21) while at his home/studio (Paisley Park) and at age 57. His publicist confirmed to the news with the Associated Press after TMZ broke the story.

According to numerous reports, the music and fashion icon was hospitalized last week after his plane had to make an abrupt emergency landing in Moline, Ill.

Reports suggest Prince was released just a few short hours after he initially checked-in at the hospital. A representative for Prince told TMZ that he was battling a bad case of the flu.
